Game modes
Available scoring modalities:
- STABLEFORD:
- In this game mode, the strokes are not counted, but the points obtained.
- Par is rewarded with two points, bogey with one, and birdie with three, and so on without ever deducting points. In addition, each hole has bonus points awarded for the player's handicap and the handicap of the hole (or difficulty of the hole relative to the course). Thus, a player with an exact handicap of 10 who meets par on the hole declared as handicap 8 of the course, receives 2 points for the par and an extra one because the hole has a lower handicap than his, so that if he had met the par on the 12th handicap hole of the course, he would not receive any extra points.
- The competition is won by the player or side that completes all the laps with the highest number of points.
- STROKE PLAY:
- In this game mode, the strokes made are counted.
- The result is obtained by adding the number of strokes with which the ball has been put into each hole.
- Whoever has made the fewest strokes (when all holes have been completed) will be the winner.
- MATCH PLAY:
- It is played in such a way that each hole constitutes a point independent of the results on another hole. That is, you play hole by hole and one hole is worth as much as the others.
- Holes are considered tied if both players or teams make the same score.
- When a player has an advantage over another that can no longer be overcome, even if the losing player wins all the remaining holes, the game is immediately over and the player with the most holes is the winner.
- AGAINST BOGEY (Soon):
- The Contra Bogey mode is a stroke game mode, in which you compete against the net bogey of the hole you are playing.
- If the player makes a lower result of the net bogey he gets 1 point, if he makes the bogey he adds 0 points and if he makes a higher result he gets 1 point deducted.
- AGAINST PAR (Soon):
- The Contra Par mode is a stroke game modality, in which you compete against the net par of the hole you are playing.
- If the player makes a result less than the net pair he gets 1 point, if he makes the pair he adds 0 points and if he makes a higher result he gets 1 point subtracted.
Available game modes:
- INDIVIDUAL:
- Each player competes individually against the others.
- FOURSOME:
- It is a game in pairs.
- Each pair plays a single ball.
- The two players in the pair alternate tees on each hole (i.e. one player leads on the even-numbered holes and the other on the odd-numbered holes).
- Alternate subsequent strokes until the end of the hole.
- FOURBALL:
- It is also known as the best ball.
- Each golfer in each group plays their own ball.
- The team's score on each hole is the lowest score of the players in the group.
- Only one of the players is required to complete each hole.
- GREENSOME:
- It is the same as the Foursome mode with the difference that all players start on each hole.
- The best ball is chosen and they play in alternating strokes until the hole is completed.
- GREENSOME-CHAPMAN:
- It is the same as the Foursome mode with the difference that all players start on each hole.
- Each player plays the second stroke with his partner's ball.
- For the third stroke, one of the two balls is chosen, which continues to be played with alternating strokes until the end of the hole.
- CANADA CUP:
- Competition in which each player plays with his own ball every stroke.
- The score of each pair is the sum of the players' score.
- SCRAMBLE:
- Each player in the group leaves the tee at each hole.
- Each group chooses the best ball from the plays by the members of the group.
- All players in the group take the next shot from the best ball selected.
- The process is repeated until each hole is finished.
- BEST RESULTS:
- In each pair or group of players, a number of players defined at the beginning of the competition scores on each hole.
- Each player plays their own ball.
- The score of each group on each hole is the sum of the best results of the players in that group.
